Dr. Chris Hergenrader, head varsity basketball coach at St. Anthony Village High School, announced his resignation from the school’s boys basketball program today. Hergenrader, who has been the Huskies head coach since 2012 has had an impressive last four years at the helm tallying a 64-44 record. “We appreciate the six years Coach Hergenrader taught and modeled life lessons to help our young men become better athletes, students, and people.” said Dr. Troy Urdahl, SAVHS Activities Director. “He has worked tirelessly to share his passion, vision, and determination with our student-athletes. No one could ever outwork Dr. Hergenrader - the amount of time, effort, and passion he poured into our program is incredible.” In his time as the Huskies head coach, Hergenrader was instrumental in promoting the youth booster program and building a strong future for St. Anthony basketball. Dr. Hergenrader will continue his teaching responsibilities at St. Anthony Village High School. The school will begin the search for a new varsity basketball coach immediately.
